Scouts
ages 10 to 17 years old
Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the SA, is available to boys and girls who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old.
The Scouting of America relies on volunteers to provide leadership and support to Cub Scout packs, Scout troops, and Venturing crews.
Become a Scout Volunteer
Through volunteering with the Scouts of America, you will work with youth to build a better future for our country. Scouting volunteers come to Scouting from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
